Mark 7 life raft in heavy seas. Designed for a seven person capacity. Nine men boarded this raft. Within a minute of boarding the raft, five of them returned to the water attempting to drag it closer to Jerry Grisgby. Three of the five would later succumb to hypothermia before rescue.
